Introducing Jessica, an AI assistant that runs in your browser
Jessica answers questions about Automaata 24/7 on every page. In full-AI mode an open-source model runs entirely on your device, nothing you type leaves it, and she always says she is an AI.
Jessica is live on automaata.ai. She is the assistant in the corner of every page, and she is an AI; she will tell you so if you ask, and the label under her name says it before you do.
Two modes
Guided mode is the default and works in every browser. Jessica matches your question against Automaata's knowledge base and answers instantly: pricing, the automation levels, offline behaviour, compliance rules, how to book a demo. Nothing you type is sent anywhere; the matching runs in the page.
Full-AI mode is opt-in. From the settings icon in her panel you can download an open-source language model to your browser, where it runs on your device's graphics hardware through WebGPU. Three sizes are offered: Quick (Meta Llama 3.2 1B, about 0.9 GB), Balanced (Llama 3.2 3B, about 2.3 GB) and Max (Alibaba Qwen 2.5 7B, about 5 GB, which needs a discrete GPU). The download happens once and is cached. After that, Jessica answers free-form questions with the same knowledge base as her briefing, and your conversation never leaves your machine.
Why in the browser
Two reasons. The first is privacy: a visitor asking about an operation they run should not have that conversation stored on someone else's server. The second is honesty about what AI costs: an assistant that runs on your device, with the model named and the download size shown, is one whose limits you can see. Browsers without WebGPU simply stay in guided mode, so Jessica works for everyone.
What she will not do
She does not quote prices beyond what the pricing page says, invent customers or statistics, or claim certifications Automaata has not earned. She is briefed to say when she is unsure and to point you to hello@automaata.ai, where a person replies within one business day. Her answers are not commitments; those come from a written quote.
Inside the Automaata platform, the same assistant will be available to administrators in the Ops Console, under the same disclosure rules, with the same audit record that every automated action carries.
