Privacy, terms, AI use and accessibility

The policies that apply to this website, automaata.ai, and to Jessica, the AI assistant on it. Product agreements for customers of the Automaata platform are provided separately.

Privacy policy

What this site collects. Visiting automaata.ai does not require an account. Our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) receives standard web-server data such as your IP address and browser type when it serves a page, under GitHub's privacy statement. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the request for the font files. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

Forms. The demo and pricing forms on this site do not send anything to a server. When you submit one, the page opens a pre-filled email in your own email app addressed to hello@automaata.ai; nothing is sent unless you send it. Information you email us is used only to answer you and prepare a quote or demo, and is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

Jessica. In guided mode, Jessica matches your question against a knowledge base inside the page; your question is not transmitted anywhere. In full-AI mode, which you turn on yourself, an open-source language model is downloaded once to your browser and runs on your device; your messages are processed locally and are not sent to Automaata or any model provider. The model files are fetched from a content delivery network, which receives the download request. Your choice of model is remembered in your browser's local storage.

Your choices. Your browser's theme preference and Jessica's model choice are stored in local storage and can be cleared from your browser settings. To ask what we hold about you from an email exchange, or to have it deleted, write to hello@automaata.ai.

Terms of use

This website is provided by Automaata for information about its products. Content is provided as is and may change without notice. Product descriptions, roadmap items and timelines describe what we are building and are not a warranty that any feature will be available on a given date. Guides and articles are general information, not legal advice; the rules they describe change, and you should confirm them with counsel for your situation. You may link to any page on this site. You may not misrepresent this site's content as your own or use it to impersonate Automaata. Automaata is an independent company and is not affiliated with any other security software provider named on this site for comparison or context.

AI use disclosure

Jessica is an artificial-intelligence assistant, not a person, and is identified as such wherever she appears. She may make mistakes. Her answers are not commitments on Automaata's behalf: pricing, timelines and contractual terms come only from a written quote or agreement. In full-AI mode she runs an open-source language model (Meta Llama 3.2 or Alibaba Qwen 2.5, compiled by the MLC project) entirely inside your browser; we do not see your conversation and do not use it to train anything. Within the Automaata platform, text drafted by AI is labeled as such and the original human input is retained alongside it. The platform does not make discipline, termination or licensing decisions, and decisions about work assignments, overtime, pay runs and invoices are proposed by software and approved by a person.

Accessibility

We aim for this site to meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Pages use semantic headings, keyboard-reachable navigation and controls with visible focus, sufficient color contrast in both light and dark themes, and respect the reduced-motion preference. Jessica's chat panel is keyboard operable and announces new messages to assistive technology. If you find something that does not work for you, email hello@automaata.ai with the page and the problem and we will fix it.
